Club Profile
The Club meets at 7:30 pm on the first Tuesday of each month (except January) at the Canberra Deakin Football Club, 3 Grose Street, Deakin ACT. New visitors are warmly welcomed. Club members actively participate in car shows across the ACT, Wollongong, Sydney, Moruya, and more. They also attend the biennial EH All State Run, a national gathering celebrating EJs and EHs, where the Club has a proud tradition of winning numerous awards.
Our members bring a wealth of knowledge on EJs, EHs, and general technical expertise, always willing to support each other with advice and resources. The Club also has an extensive network of contacts. Our journal, Keep Holden On, is published several times a year and is shared among members and other car clubs across the region.
Founded in 1990, the Club was established to foster public appreciation of these iconic vehicle models and to share the joy of owning and maintaining them. Above all, the Club is a social community of friends. We welcome all enthusiasts, whether they prefer original or modified vehicles, ensuring that all perspectives are valued.
Ownership of an EJ or EH is not required for membership—appreciation of these models is all that’s needed. Members span a range of models from the 48/215 (FX) to WB, all united by a shared passion. The Club values a diverse age group and strives to host events appealing to all ages.
The Club is open to all genders, with a slightly higher number of male members, and welcomes anyone from the ACT region. We offer a discounted membership for out-of-town members who may not be able to attend all events but still enjoy full membership benefits, including our magazine and a strong sense of community.
